Typical itinerary for a day of  Wine Tasting with Grape-X-Pectations

Grape-x-Pectations is the only Hunter Valley based Tour Company that strictly specialises in BOUTIQUE wineries.

On a typical Day Tour you can expect to visit 5 or maybe 6 of the Hunter Valley's best kept secrets. All of the wineries that we visit are award winning wineries.

10 – 10:30 am            Pick up at your accommodation. 

1^st Stop – Petersons at Mt View, home of the Len Evans Trophy and best named winery in Australasia.

2^nd Stop – Briar Ridge, home of special reds.

3^rd Stop – Honeytree Estate, SPECIAL ****1/2 Star Shiraz, Blue Gold Cabernet Sauvignon  and a very rare variety called “CLAIRETTE”   WOW !

Did I mention that they have an  ICE WINE ?

4^th Stop – Lunch at one of the Hunter Valley's leading restaurants

5^th Stop – Blueberry Hill (You’ll find your thrill) The vines here are all over 50 years old, so this will give you some lovely soft characters.

Blanc De Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.

6^th Stop – Gartelmann Hunter Estate, the Best Chardonnay in the Valley, they also are a Blue gold winner.

4 – 4:30         Drop off at your accommodation

  Tours run daily throughout the hunter for groups of 1 to 100  people. Bookings essential.
